Abstract:
During the study of historical product formulae, the microscopist or chemical analyst will encounter terms for components that may not be generally recognized. This dictionary provides meanings for many obscure and unusual terms found in product formulation documents and ingredient lists associated with asbestos-containing building products. This information is important when comparing the results of analyses with the historical formulae during the process of constituent analysis and product identification.
