Abstract:
Five basic approaches to particle sampling from surfaces are scraping, brushing, tape sampling, wipe sampling, and vacuum collection. A basic procedure for each of these approaches is presented with illustrations of each of the samplers. The samples of particles are then suitable for microscopical analyses.
