Alyssa Smale, Ph.D.

Research Scientist

Alyssa has a background in chemistry and forensic science. She specializes in Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), confocal Raman microscopy (CRM), scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), and data analysis and reduction. She also has experience in light microscopy, polarized light microscopy (PLM), particle isolation, and sample preparation in a clean room. Alyssa participates in client meetings and is involved in the writing and review of reports.
