Jake has been MVA’s quality manager since 2021 and has served as a member of the company’s quality control unit since 2016. As quality manager, Jake maintains the quality system at MVA by implementing the ISO 17025:2017 standard (Cert. No. 2096.01) and FDA Good Laboratory Practice regulations, overseeing the training program, managing the instrument calibration and maintenance program, conducting internal audits, facilitating quality requests from clients, and implementing quality system corrective action and improvement initiatives.
As a research scientist, Jake specializes in the analysis of micro- and nano-scale particles utilizing transmission electron microscopy (TEM) with selected area electron diffraction (SAED) and energy-dispersive x-ray spectrometry (EDS).
